On Wednesday 27th May our ladies played the first round of the Top Club at home against Marlow.  We had a win of 3 to 1 out of the 4 disciplines only losing the singles.  Unfortunately, Chris Moir, who was playing in the singles, had a breathing upset and had to withdraw.  Moira Austin stood in for the remainder of the match and I'm glad to say that Chris recovered well.

 

The ladies have worked hard over the past few weeks to make the team happen and we now await confirmation of our next opponent, either Gerrards Cross or Chesham.

 

Our team was made up of: Chris Moir then our reserve of Moira Austin in the singles.

 

Gill Pochetty and Hazel Baker in the pairs.

 

Jan Endersby, Pam McNeil and Sue Skerry in the triples.

 

Linda James, Cheryl Spriggs,  Angela Cripps and Pam Naish in the fours.

 

Jan Still was our other reserve plus chief cheer leader.
