Spring Plate Competition - 25th May

 

Despite the sweltering hot day and confusion regarding the start time, all players eventually arrived just before 11am thus enabling the competition to take place.  Due to the heat it was decided to play 6 ends instead of the usual 8.  Although it was very hot we managed to keep to the schedule and everyone seemed to enjoy the day.

 

After the 3 games these were the top 2 teams to contest the final:

 

Denise Williams, Pam Naish and Brian Ashton -v- Barry Mills, Pam McNeil and Paul Naish. 

The winners were Barry's team by 8 shots to 3.
