We have had a very peculiar round of matches with the weather being so hot in the last week or so. We played at Marlow in a C&T match on the 20th July and lost by 2 points to 8. Our winning triple was Denise Williams, Mike Alderton and Callum Kavanagh.

We then played a friendly match at Wexham on the 23rd July and again we lost by 3 triples to 1. Our winning triple was Mike Moir, Denise Williams and Nigel Shock.  We then played Harefield Hospital in a 3 Counties match at home on the 25th July which we won by 7 points to 5. We had 2 wins, 2 losses and i drawn triple. Out top triple was Flora Alderton.John Anderson and Barry Mills by 27 to 8 shots. We then went to Wendover for a friendly match and managed to get 5 triples which was very good. Their green was very good as they had plenty of watering and we lost by 64 to 92 shots. Our winning triple was Margaret Timberlake, Allan Sanders and Mike Holehouse who won by 19 to 13 shots.The captain at Wendover for us was Ian Griffith for which I am very grateful.
